Banana Shake Feminized Seeds

Description

Banana Shake Feminized is an 80%/20% indica-dominant hybrid created by Sensi Seeds’ Breeding Grounds alongside the team at Fat Beans as a blend of Hindu Kush and Fruit Slices. Hindu Kush is a pure indica landrace strain while Fruit Slices is a 90% sativa blend. However, the final result is less balanced than one might think, with these plants exhibiting almost purely indica traits.

Banana Shake Feminized is an extremely compact strain with a moderate aroma making it ideal for indoor growers. Despite their stature, these plants are still capable of big yields and the buds deliver a powerful high that’s likely to leave users fairly sedated. These no-nonsense plants don’t require much extra care but also don’t respond particularly well to more advanced growing techniques.

Growth Pattern of Banana Shake Feminized

Banana Shake Feminized cannabis seeds lean heavily into their indica lineage and develop into compact and robust plants. With tight internodal spacing and thick, hearty lateral branches, these plants are ideal picks for anyone with limited space who still wants to harvest large yields. If grown indoors, Banana Shake Feminized typically finishes flowering at under 80 cm with plants as small as 25 cm being possible if the lights are flipped to a 12/12 schedule early.

Over these plants’ 60 to 65-day flowering cycle, indoor growers can anticipate harvests of anywhere from 400-550 grams per square metre. Outdoors, Banana Shake Feminized can reach heights of 75-125 cm and produce 475-650 grams per plant. At each of the tightly-packed inner nodes and along the top of every branch, these plants’ solid, chunky buds are a vibrant green colour with subtle hints of purple speckled throughout.

Each bud is dense and coated in sticky trichomes as are the sugar leaves. Overall, each flower isn’t particularly large, but their density and sparse vegetation make trimming a breeze. Thanks to their short stature, Banana Shake Feminized plants are incredibly well-suited for a sea of green (SOG) grow.

Additionally, their thick lateral branches can tolerate the stresses involved with supercropping. However, the short inner nodes and slow vegetative growth make this strain a poor choice for lollipopping, mainlining, or a screen of green (SCROG) setup.

Effects, taste, and smell of Banana Shake Feminized

As Banana Shake Feminized plants reach maturity, the odour is a blend of sweet, juicy fruits with earthy undertones. As the buds develop, the fragrance intensifies, filling the grow area with a tropical fruit scent balanced by a deep, herbal Kush aroma. This smell is certainly noticeable and is surprisingly strong for such a small plant.

Once cured, the buds reveal a powerful aroma of ripe bananas layered with subtle earthy and herbal notes from its Kush heritage. The taste is a mouthwatering blend of juicy fruit flavours on the inhale with hints of mango and pineapple and a distinct ripe banana on the exhale. Shortly after trying Banana Shake Feminized, you’ll feel its distinctly indica-like effects as a wave of relaxation washes over your body.

This high is deeply relaxing, both mentally and physically, as the effects begin with a gentle, uplifting sensation that transforms into a calming body high. If you’ve got things to do, this strain might not be the best choice. Instead, Banana Shak Banana Shake Banana Shake e Feminized is a great pick for unwinding after a long day or as a nightcap before bed.

Did you know? Hindu Kush is one of the original wild landrace strains and is named for the Kush Mountains along the Afghanistan/Pakistan border where it originates. Fruit Slices is a cross of Sour Cherry Blossom and Agent Orange, which itself traces its roots back to Jack Herer.
