Auto AK XXL – Classic AK Genetics, Citrus-Skunk Flavours and Generous Yields
Auto AK XXL from Original Sensible Seeds combines classic AK genetics with the convenience of autoflowering cannabis seeds. Created from AK × Autoflowering genetics, this indica-dominant variety delivers old-school character, manageable growth and generous harvest potential. With THC levels reaching 18% and an estimated 70–80 days from seed to harvest, it’s an appealing choice for growers seeking a productive, straightforward autoflower.
Manageable Growth with Impressive Potential
Reaching approximately 60–120 cm indoors or outdoors, Auto AK XXL is compact enough for smaller spaces without sacrificing productivity. Its XXL name reflects its harvest potential rather than excessive height.
Grower feedback highlights a particularly welcome quality: resilience. One beginner described the plant as forgiving despite several cultivation mistakes, while another reported a rewarding harvest even after encountering difficulties. Individual flowering times can vary, with some growers reporting a longer cycle than expected.
Sweet Citrus Meets Old-School Skunk
Although rooted in classic AK genetics, Auto AK XXL has revealed some surprisingly fruity characteristics in grower reports.
Aromas range from fresh citrus and pine to sweet, candy-like fruit, with one grower comparing the scent to Skittles. Another noted familiar old-school skunk aromas with a refreshing citrus edge.
One particularly interesting report described an initially sharp, citrus-cleaner scent gradually becoming sweeter during curing, accompanied by citrus, pine and subtle chemical notes on tasting.
Generous Harvests from a Compact Autoflower
Breeder estimates place indoor yields at up to 400 g/m², with outdoor plants capable of producing around 100 g each under suitable conditions.
One grower reported 93.5 g of buds plus approximately 20 g of smaller popcorn buds, despite admitting that their training could have been better. It’s an encouraging example of the variety’s productive potential, although individual results will naturally vary.
In suitable climates, Auto AK XXL can be grown outdoors in successive cycles, with planting beginning in April and harvests continuing through October.
Classic AK Effects
With a stated THC potential of 18%, Auto AK XXL offers a balance of strength and character. One grower described an uplifting, sativa-like experience accompanied by a gentle sense of calm, illustrating how individual experiences can differ even with an indica-dominant variety.
For those who appreciate traditional AK genetics, distinctive citrus-skunk aromas and productive autoflowering plants, Auto AK XXL brings familiar character together with modern growing convenience.
