Vermiculite (1mm-8mm Horticultural Grade)

Description

Lightweight, porous golden brown chippings commonly used in horticulture for seedlings, potting mixes or as a top dressing. Vermiculite absorbs 3-4 times it's weight in water and retains essential nutrients needed for growth and development in plants. Accelerate growth and promote better anchorage for tender young root systems.

Add vermiculite to soil for conditioning either alone or in conjunction with compost or peat. Application Rates: Mix with your potting soil or compost at a ratio of 25%-50% depending your needs. We recommend a higher amount of vermiculite of seed starting and a lower rate for fully established plants.
