Jiffy is a clean, cost-effective rooting medium well suited to the propagation of many different crops. They are favoured by hydroponic growers and have been proven to have the best germination rates. These extra deep pellets are easily re-hydrated, ready for use by hand, or during the normal irrigation cycle.
This range of Jiffy pellets are manufactured entirely from coir pith, a by-product of the coconut industry, the Jiffy Coir makes use of this abundant waste material, to create an environmentally friendly product. As with the rest of the Jiffy-7 range, the 7C is supplied in a dried compressed form allowing the grower to store unused plugs until the next crop cycle without waste. Efficient storage is also a benefit as the Jiffy-7C occupies less than ¼ the space that other discrete plugs occupy.
Jiffy-7C pellets are some of the least bulky pellets available, and are held together with a fine netted mesh, ensuring optimal water and airflow to the seedling or cutting grown in the medium. After being soaked in lukewarm water they will expand to whichever size you ordered. We are an authorised dealer for Jiffy products.
Always be aware of cheap imitations, as the results you will get from them when growing and propagating will not be the same as the genuine article. Please Note Numbers advertised represent the average package content In our drive to offer the most competitive prices possible and to maximise efficiencies, many small items are weighed rather than counted e.g. 100 x 4” plant labels or 300 x jiffy pellets etc. For the most part this method is successful and delivers the accurate number, however on occasion actual numbers received may be plus or minus a small amount.
In this situation we will not be able to send any perceived missing items or expect any to be returned.
