IWS Trident Flood and Drain System

Description

The IWS Trident is the latest evolution in flood and drain technology, designed to simplify your setup while maximising plant health. By combining the legendary reliability of IWS with innovative 16L and 25L Trident pots, this system offers the easiest path to professional-grade yields.

Featuring integrated stands, push-fit fittings, and rubber grommets, the Trident eliminates the need for tools or additional components, making it the most user-friendly modular system on the market.

Innovative Trident Pot Technology

The Trident pot isn’t just a container; it’s a root-zone management system. Unlike traditional pots, the Trident utilizes several unique features to boost growth:

• Cloth Inner Pots (16L and 25L): The only IWS system compatible with fabric liners, encouraging “air pruning” for a denser, more fibrous root mass and superior oxygenation.
• Integrated Root Rods: These specialised rods at the base keep the inner pot elevated, preventing roots from sitting in stagnant water and stopping them from clogging the feed pipes.
• Built-in Risers: Forget separate stands. The Trident’s integrated legs provide the perfect height for gravity-assisted drainage.
• Tie-Back Rings: Built-in rings on the outer rim allow you to easily train your plants (LST) to spread the canopy and maximise light penetration.

How the System Works

The system uses a Remote Minute Timer to trigger the pumping of nutrient solution from your FlexiTank into the IWS Control Unit.

• Bottom-Up Feeding: Nutrients flow via 25mm Pro pipework into the bottom of each pot, ensuring the root ball is fully saturated while pushing “stale” air out of the medium.
• Precision Control: The internal float system ensures water levels never exceed the top of the pots, preventing any risk of flooding.
• Ultimate Drainage: Once the pump stops, gravity pulls the solution back to the tank, drawing fresh oxygen into the root zone for explosive growth.
